Description
Another morning up before the sun and heading out for a long walk with the pup, a face wash in a river and warm up to my workout by headlamp. Today, being based only a few kilometres north west from the centre of Alberta the sky was clear. The light pollution non-existent, the darkness here, more vast than the wilderness and the stars, on a clear night more abundant than the bugs on a sunny day in summer. As I turned down the street and headed off into the black, the crisp star strewn sky came alive. An incredible shooting star guided my eye to the movement of the dancing greens and yellows with flashes of pink light. I stopped in utter mesmerization gazing out at the incredible sight and with the clear cut forest in front, an open window to the Aurora ahead.
